Do you use stencils in your journals? Do you make your own? This is an opportunity to try to make one. You can use a playing card, piece of a plastic file folder, or blank stencil material (usually sold next to commercial stencils). I'm sure there are other substrates you can use. Anything that can be used over and over again - that is sturdier than a piece of card stock. Cut or punch (craft punch or die-cut machine) a shape or shapes onto substrate. Voila! An handmade stencil. Let's all try to make a 4" x 6" stencil (easily mailed with one stamp) or two small 2" x 3" stencils. It is senders choice so have fun. You could even decorate the envelope with the stencil image you created! |
