Love wash tape? Looking for something different? Try making your own decorative tape. Go to YouTube for ideas but you can paint/stamp/spray regular masking tape to create your own decorative tape. If you have some Scor-tape or other double sided tape, you can stick paper, gelli prints, foreign language newsprint, deli paper art or dictionary pages to it. Then you can paint, ink, spray, distress - whatever you like to use to finish your artwork. Please use tape that is 3/4" to 1.5" wide. If you are sending masking tape, do not roll tape onto tape - send flat, attached to freezer paper or some other release paper. Scor-tape has release paper on both sides. Send two pieces at least 12" long. The tape can be folded, just not taped on top of the decorative side. I am not responsible for your new addiction to making your own tape! |
