This swap will be limited to 6 participants! Please be prepared to participate in this AND the next 5 swaps in the series! If you don't feel you can complete the entire series, please don't join this swap. Thank you! For this round, we will buy or make a journal with at least 14 pages. Please, please, please use good quality paper! Cardstock, watercolor paper, bristol... as long as it will stand up to art journaling. NO notebook or printer paper, please! The size of the journal doesn't really matter, but remember the cost of postage! Decorate the journal cover. Leave a page for people to sign in. On the back page, put your name and address with the instructions "Please send this journal back to me when it is full" (or words to that effect). Whether or not you want to assign a theme to the journal is up to you. Do the first 2 pages of the journal. Draw, paint, color, write, doodle, zentangle, paste, whatever. Just do "something" (anything) on 2 pages, then send it on to your partner. There will be 6 rounds all together. After 6 rounds, please send the journal home, whether it is full or not. Please do not flake. If you don't think you'll be able to commit to this, please don't join. It would be extremely difficult to angel this one. Must have a rating of 5. No exceptions. USA only because of the cost of postage and the turnaround time. You will have 2 weeks between swaps. So.... to recap: If you get a journal that does not include these 4 elements, please rate a 3 (this includes the quality of the paper). If the journal you get has all 4 of these elements, you will rate a 5, even if you don't like the theme or the artwork. OK? Got it? Let's do this thing!! :-) I'm really hoping we all get back some nicely done journals at the end! |
