Type 3 but could be a flat, relatively inexpensive package! Join in! Thanks to @tovanns for this swap idea! Send your one partner a cross-stitched bookmark that is Christmas themed. More general Christmas and winter themes preferred, not overly religious. For example (but not limited to): Christmas trees, bells, wreaths, reindeer, angels, winter scenes, snowmen, wrapped presents, Santa, Santa's elves, pile of Christmas toys, Christmas bulbs or ornaments, nutcracker,...etc Maybe don't make topics such as Crosses, Madonna and Child, a Church, etc, unless it is very obvious your partner enjoys those. Bookmark needs to be cross-stitched, but can be finished with the fabric you stitch on, felt, paper, fabric etc. I will find some tutorials to post here. If you are a very neat stitcher you may not need to finish the back. We have several of you in the group and I'm jealous! I'm a bit of a messy stitcher behind the scenes so I cover the back of mine with sticky felt. I am not going to put a min/mx size - it is a bookmark, make it bookmark-y! Up to stitcher if it includes a tassel or whatever - it can but doesn't have to. Please do nice work and send on time. Communicate with your partner if needed. I will angel if needed. Image is from Gordon primary blog I believe it is describing a cross-stitch project the class did! So cool!! I learned to cross-stitch in a summer activity program at my local school when I was 9. |
