Greetings Wrimos! This is the swap you need to join to participate in our Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, online write-in.This is our third year of hold this NaNoWriMo event! How it works Join the swap. Please don't delay in this step. I need to know exactly who is in the swap because there are items I need to snail mail to all participants before the write-in. These are items that you'll need during the event and they need time to get to international participants. We have word wars and a few games, and there are prizes! Chat below. Post your NaNo name below. Feel free to chat about NaNo leading up to the write-in day. Come write-in Our actual event takes place from 3 p.m-5 p.m (U.S Eastern time) in the NaNoWriMo Swapping Group Forum. (New to the format? See the 2013 thread for how it works.) We hold the write in at this time in order to accommodate as many group members as possible. It's very early a.m. for Australia/New Zealand, but afternoon, midday for others and not too late evening for Europe. I will create the thread for the actual write-in a couple of days before the event. How do I rate my partner? This is basically an electronic swap. Rate your partner a 5 after he/she signs in to the event on the write-in thread with a hello message. If you'd like to snail mail your partner a NaNo greeting, feel free. But that is not required. You DO NOT have to stay the entire two hours. You can come write-in as long as you'd like. But you DO need to post a hello at some point during the event to be rated a 5. Other Questions? 3 p.m.Eastern U.S. is 10 p.m. in Johannesburg.

Not sure which of the five large cities on the converter your town is near so i just used Johannesburg as the default.

We have a great group of swappers here. Remember, you don't have to send your partner anything (unless you're just dying to). You'll rate your partner for signing in on the write in thread in the group forum. I'll create that thread a couple of days before the writein begins.

I have packets to go out to each of you. They will post tomorrow. Be sure to have it handy on the 16th.

Partners are assigned. Go look, then get back to that 1667 goal!

You are so awesome @artistic !! My packet arrived last week (in the UK) and I was so touched by everything you included. I'm sorry I'm only just letting you know now, but I haven't been very well recently so S-B has been neglected. I'm very excited for the write in tomorrow though. Thanks again for all your hard work.
