Description: | |
Tell the other person in a letter about your hardships in life; and how you overcome them, and how you are doing now. I recommend that you are a responsible adult and are able to read anything, even sensitive or personal things. This swap says alternative, because you may come across with someone who has has had abuse, mental health problems, or something of a not so easy life. It's not easy for anyone, and someone always has it worse, right? But this will be a hopefully positive swap with hope for the future, and that you can change things, with small things, in your life. Accepting others and yourself is one way of doing it. I hope you send a long letter. You could describe some problems you have had, and how it affected other people and how they saw you at your worst etc. You could have had some injury or gained weight or tried to kill someone or yourself, but we'll try to give each other support here. This is a bit of a pre-therapeutic thing, and I have found writing helps. Don't explain a disease, but share your own experiences with it. How it started or, what lead you to today and how you live now... There used to be a swap sort of like this when I was looking for pen pals, and it got me to join swap-bot even though no one had participated in the swap (no letters sent :/) |
