Christmas Cards for a friend in need!

Great idea! I have a friend who is 88 and she lives at the rehab center where I volunteer. She has lived there for 10 years, no family, no friends, its very sad. I would love to have cards to take for her to open on Christmas. What a WONDERFUL idea! Thanks, I would love to brighten your friends Christmas as well! I will PM my partner with the info as I can't list it here for privacy laws.

No problem! I think it's probably a better idea if we all just PM them. :) I just thought, how would I feel on Christmas if I were in his situation. I love giving way more than receiving and thought it would be fun for them.

I think its wonderful. I know it will mean so much to those who need some extra holiday spirit! :)

I don't have anyone needing cards but I would love to just send out cards that I have if that is ok ?

I will probably email all my partners the address to send to.
How will we rate for this one?
I wouldn't mind agreeing not to rate. I fully intend to send, but I don't want the person receiving having to stress about telling me who sent what when.

@tlemon4 and @crazedwombat you two are fabulous. We can either all agree not to rate each other. Or alternatively, if you want to be rated, we can send photos to each other of the cards once they're finished.

I would also excpet a PM from my partner letting me know when it was sent out. I would expect people who are joing a swap to help others won't flake. I am also fine emailing a photo of the card stamped and ready to send out. :) whatevr the group decides is fine with me.

Me too - I'm not in the USA, so can't even join the swap if I wanted: but i'm always willing to send out RAK to those who can need a little cheering up.. Just sent me the adress, and I will be mailing out something from Belgium... Everybody deserves a nice Christmas!

There seem to be email issues regarding addresses.
I have not recieved two of the addresses to send to. (I have recieved Sean, Angeeta, Maurice, and Autumn, and I sent the email of addressed envelopes for those four).
I have send out my person (Karin)'s address twice and at least one person still has not recieved it.
If your person is not one of those four, please send me the address. If you have not recieved an address from me, please pm me.

And I have checked my spam folder.
