Please see the forum sticky on these swaps before reading this and joining the swap. Full requirements & all you need to know is HERE. Thank you. {Part two} - Exploring words and collage Swap 1: Using words The first swap in part 2 begins by exploring words on your pages. Now we have learnt how to create our own mixed media pages, we will be able to make our own backgrounds, and be more confident with our creativity. In these swaps we will move on to materials and themes that require you to think about yourself and your life, and bring YOU to your own journal page creations. This may be easier or harder for mixed media, but let's all try to get involved and learn something about ourselves. Page 1; Using a base of your choice learnt from part 1, we will add a quote drawn or hand written or stamped by you using any paint, rubber stamp, pencil, pen, etc. This quote must not be words cut out or from a book. It is written, drawn or stamped by you. You can leave the page blank and use coloured pens and pencils with doodles, word art shapes, and explore typography. Or you can recreate a coloured base or print like in part 1 and simply write a quote somewhere on the page using pen or pencil. How you do it is up to you but the minimum requirement is 1 quote no less than 10 letters. The quote does not have to be taken from a source, it can be a thought from your mind. Page 2; Using a journal prompt we will think about ourselves and get creative. Using any of the journal prompts below, the majority of the page has to be covered. The base/background of your page is up to you, you can leave it blank or colour, paint, collage however the majority of the page must be handwritten by you and presented nicely. You may choose any prompt from this list; -10 rules I have broken
