Reading Challenge #9 ~ RAINBOW

If you are on GoodReads, then you know there are TONS of challenges out there, designed to help you get reading and help you choose your next read. I'm going to have a series of challenges to get you reading and focused on certain books to read.

For this challenge we are going to revisit the "Read the RAINBOW" challenge, but this time round we will only read the rainbow.

For this challenge (which I will make last a little longer) we are looking at reading 6 Books. For this challenge you must ~

  • Read at least 6 books with covers that are mainly Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, or Purple in color. Feeling adventurous? You may split "purple" into Violet and Indigo for 7 books total.

The books read MUST be at least 75% of that color. You can check how much color is in your cover by entering it into the Image Color Extract Tool. To get a more accurate result of the basic colors, put in 255 in the delta. To get more varied shades, such as of purple, leave it at a lower number.

Only books completed on/after 2/2/15 accepted.

After you have read your books, write to your partner about ALL the books you have read and please write at least FOUR full size pages by hand, or two FULL pages if typed. You do not have to answer any certain questions for this swap, as long as you are able to talk about your books for at least 4 pages. You may use the questions below if you need help figuring out what to write about.

  • What was the book about?
  • Did you like it, or dislike it?
  • What was your favorite part, or character, what was your last favorite?
  • Have you read other books by the author, would you read more books by the author because of this book?
  • Were there situations or characters that you identified with, and how?
  • It's you could change something about the book, what would it be and how would you change it?
  • Did you like the book from the beginning, or did it take you a while to get into it?
  • Would you ask the author a question if you could, what would you ask?
