The is the second in a monthly series of "unusual materials" for ATC’s. BURLAP - image created by Julia Stainton For this swap, you will create an ATC using Burlap. An example of this would be adding burlap to a base that is stiff or taking burlap and making it stiff with starch or another product - and it measures 2.5 x 3.5. You will then create your ATC using any theme you want on this burlap base. The list of materials for the rest of the series is listed below in case you want to work ahead. Beads (done) - link to first one - http://swap-bot.com/swap/show/190143 Burlap (current) Clay (air dried or baked; piece of broken flower pot) Cloth (stiffened or attached to a sturdy backing) Duct Tape or Electric Tape (colors and patterns welcome) Glass (plexiglass or regular glass from old picture frames) Metal (aluminum foil as long as it is thick enough to be sturdy or on a sturdy backing) Paper/Cardboard (typical ATC) Plastic (old containers or bottle cut up; plastic picture frame that comes apart) Screen/Mesh (from old screen door) Wire (chicken coop wire, crafting wire, wire from ribbon not being used) Wood (like balsa airplane or think piece of plywood) I encourage everyone to join all - for an exciting change in the world of ATC art. |
