I feel it is our responsibility to share our sweet music finds with kids and expand their horizons beyond the cheesy sing-alongs that are marketed to them! Looking back I think, "What? My childhood could have been filled with awesome music??" Make a mix CD of at least 12 songs you wish your favorite 8-year-old knew. Songs that are NOT childrens songs, but are child-appropriate (i.e. no swearing, no sexual lyrics, etc.). They can be new songs or old songs. Include a tracklist. International swap. Newbies ok with completed profile. Hearts given for cover art!

Oh man...I literally just made a CD for when my little bro and sis are riding in the car while I'm driving. This could be lots of fun!

my girls are 3 and 5 but love all types of music. this sounds like fun but I'll have to check my music collection to see what I have first.
