ISS: Smash & Journal Pocket Swap

This is a 2 part swap :)

For this swap, you will dig into our smash and journal supplies and send some along to our partner. You will need to send at least 3 different things to your partner. Please use good judgement in what you are sending. For something like washi samples, please send at least 3 different designs, min. 12" each design. Don't just send one small strip of tape. For something like stickers, don't just send 1 sticker and call it done :)

The second part, is that your items must be sent inside a pocket, which your partner can then use in her smash book or junk journal or altered book.

The "pocket" can be a cute little decorated paper bag, a handmade pocket that you create from cardstock or magazine page, or even an envelope with the flap trimmed off. Use your imagination! It does not need to be fancy or over the top artistic. Just something that will serve as a pocket :)

Some Ideas of what to include inside:

• washi tape samples (at least 3, 12" each)
• journal cards
• pretty cardstock (at least ATC size)
• page flags
• decorative post-it notes
• ephemera
• handmade envelopes (at least 2)
• stickers (larger than thumbnail, and no teacher/reward)
• interesting book page
• magazine collage cut-outs (at least 3 images/words)

Try to put some nice things together for your partner. Things you would be happy to receive.

This is sender's choice, but it's always thoughtful to look at your partner's profile to see if there's anything that would really brighten their day.

Swap Recap

• create a "pocket"
• put at least 3 items inside the pocket for your partner's smash book or journal
• put in an envelope and mail off to your partner :)

Don't forget to include a little note with your swap-bot name and the swap name so that your partner can rate you.
