Description:

This will be a photographic hunt, for obvious reasons. No one wants you stealing things out of the cemetery, and no one wants to go to jail for trying. ;)

For this hunt, you must find and photograph the following items found in a cemetery:

  1. A marker with a year that matches your birth year (can be birth or death);
  2. An insect (living or depicted);
  3. A stone animal;
  4. A double plot with only one resident;
  5. A bird (living or depicted);
  6. A marker that has a last name that starts with the same letter as your last name;
  7. A marker of someone who was not born in your country;
  8. A marker with the word "beloved" on it;
  9. A cross;
    10.A memorial bench.

Bonus points (not required, but optional if you like to play in the challenge mode):

  1. A marker with the family surname of "Smith";
  2. A marker of someone who lived past the age of 80;
  3. A marker of someone who did not make it to the age of 1;
  4. The oldest marker you can find in your search;
  5. A stuffed animal.

They don't all have to be from the same cemetery, but you have to find them there (i.e, don't bring one and place it there for the purpose of photographing it).

Here is the twist. You MUST bring one item from home to place next to the object being photographed, and this item must appear in each photograph, either next to it in the photo or in a wider overall shot, if it is not possible to put the two right next to each other. This is to ensure that you all play fair and don't just pull from your existing library of photos. ;)

Once you have your items photographed, you will send the photos via email to your recipient, along with a short explanation of where you found each one, date you found it, and any other information you think might be interesting about your particular find.

That's it! Hope you join and hope you have fun!
