Yay, let's make some mail art. :) We'll have 1 partner and we'll be making them 1 mail art envelope. Your envelope can be hand made, or it can be a pre-made store bought envelope but it must be decorated all over. :) It's senders choice what mediums you use to decorate the envelope and how you decorate it. Some ideas could be collage, draw/paint, use stamps and rub-ons/transfers, stickers & embellishments, typography/word art, plastered stamps, patterns & textures, and even temporary tattoos!, washi tape, die-cuts, mixed media (ribbon? tissue paper?) etc etc. Here's where the rainbow comes in. We'll be finding a way to put 1 detail on the envelope for a rainbow of colours. What colours you choose, is your choice. For example, Orange, Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Pink. They don't have to be the actual colours of the rainbow, they can just be a variety of colours. Rules with this Use a minimum of 5 different colours, and 1 detail for each colour to make a rainbow of colours on your mail art. Put effort into your envelope. No one is judging your art but just putting 5 different coloured washi tapes isn't going to cut it. Make something you're proud of. There doesn't need to be an actual rainbow shape or image on your envelope. Ideas...
You get the idea. Get creative & make your own rainbow mail art. :) In a nutshell choose your 5 favourite colours, and use those 5 colours to make a mail art envelope for your partner. Include a note for your partner, maybe with a flat surprise, and mail off on time. Enjoy! |
