Every month, we'll explore a different genre by reading a single book and sharing our thoughts with our partner. June's genre is nonfiction. Genre Definition:

(Wikipedia) Nonfiction or non-fiction is the classification for any informative work (often, a story) whose creator, in good faith, assumes responsibility for the truth or accuracy of the events, people, and/or information presented. Common literary examples of nonfiction include expository, argumentative, functional, and opinion pieces; essays on art or literature; biographies; memoirs; journalism; and historical, scientific, technical, or economic writings.
