I know one thing that a lot of newbies struggle with is getting into swaps when you need at least 10 Type 3 ratings etc. and if you are not a fan of ATC’s or mailart, it can be difficult to find Type 3 swaps that you can do. So, let’s have a go at a Pick Three themed package swap. The point of a Pick Three swap is that the swap will have a particular theme, and you will pick three items in that theme to send to your partner. The theme for this swap is Woodland. So some examples of things you could send would be;- postcards, notecards, bookmarks, keyrings, jewellery, washi tape, notebook, stickers, shaped paperclips, pens etc. Woodland could be;- foxes, hedgehogs, owls, badgers, mushrooms, trees, frogs, bears. Basically anything you would find in a Wood! The rules for this swap are;- Send your partner three different items in a woodland theme – this means do not send three postcards and call it done! Only two of the items can be paper based – paper based means postcards, notecards etc. Notebooks are not counted as paper as they are a larger item. Newbies and experienced swappers are equally welcome. You must have a well filled out profile though (for guidance on this, please check the group forum). This is senders choice, so as long as you receive three different items in a woodland theme, you should rate a 5. You should not rate down if you don’t like what you receive! Hearts are always up to the individual, and you should not feel pressured to give a heart. Please pop a note in with the name of the swap, and your name so that your partner knows what swap to rate for. Please bear in mind that this is a package swap, and it is International so please take this into account when considering how much the postage is likely to be. If people enjoy this swap, I am happy to do a series of different themes. Any questions, please either comment below or PM me. |
