Summary:
Long description: For this swap, take 2-4 photos of something that starts with the letter C, for your partners to guess what did you shoot. It could be just a detail shown - but not a busy picture as for "I spy". It may be easier or harder to guess, but don't make it impossible. For example, if you photograph your beagle Spotty, then you can use it as Animal for A, Pet for P, Dog for D or Beagle for B, but don't use it as Spotty for S, because how would your partner know what your dog's name was? You can let your partner guess nouns like Dog, adjectives like Brown or even actions like Digging. The photos must be taken by yourself. They may be old photos that you took years ago. You can attach your photos to an e-mail (use BCC when sending to both partners at once) as they are, OR you can make a neat collage, for example using (for example using piZap - link) and send the collage file. Don't forget to mention the name of swap and your swap-bot username in e-mail body! When you receive swap from your partner, please take time to check out the photos, puzzle what could have been the words your partner tried to convey, and rate your partner guessing the words in your rating comment. When you receive a rating like this, respond by telling whether the guess was correct. You don't have to write a novel - "Apple, ant, anchor?"-"Yes!" is enough; but do guess, or what for did your partner struggle hunting these pictures if you won't?? Keep in mind that a picture may have more than one correct answer either accidentally or by design - so if you want to point out your alternative, you can answer "I meant Dalmatian, but Dog works, too!", or "Yes, and not just a Dog, but a Digging Dog!". |
