This is great! My birthday is May 12th - it's always on/around Mother's Day.. so I always get "joint" dinners and the like. Not that I don't appreciate my Mom, but it'll be nice to have something to open just for me :)

My daughter's birthday is May 20! She will be 3 years old! I signed up for her! I have really enjoyed swapping and love the chance to be creative and send someone I don't know something that will brighten their day!

My daughter's name is Lauren. She has blonde curly hair and bright blue eyes! She is a doll and has been a true blessing! She loves elephants most of all, bubbles, chewing gum, and books! She loves being outside, spending the summer on the lake with us swimming and fishing, and going swimming at the Y!

I turn 30 on May 2nd - I get to spend 3 months of my husband telling me how I'm in my 30s and he's still in his 20s. :)

I'd really rather not post a list, I have more fun leaving it up to my partner's imagination and being surprised. My profile is fairly well filled out with my likes and dislikes. , but if my partner has trouble, they should prod me and I'll come up with a list of some sort.

For the May birthday swap: My son Colin's birthday is May 8. He'll be 18, grsduating from high school, just got a car that is the current love of his life, and is an artist who does glass art, sculpture, clay animation, and mixing his own techno music. He's off to art school in the fall, and will be living in his own apartment (Yikes!). He loves the Sopranos and any forensics/crime TV show.

Easy choices would be: 1. Anything for his car, 2. used crime show DVD's that you can pass on, action movies too 3. t-shirts ( size med or large) 4. if you live out west, he LOVES chili cheese fritos, which are not available on the east coast. Any cheesy snacks are a hit with him 5. spicy BBQ sauce, 6. grapefruit jellybeans 7. any small things that would be useful for living on his own for the first time, even easy recipes

oh my gosh, i can't believe it got there so quick!! i'm so glad you liked it. i really enjoyed picking out the yarn, i went to this really cool shop near me that i had never been in. i don't knit or crochet but the textures were all so cool and the colors, i had no idea. this is dangerous sending us out to investigate others crafts! i may just have to use my knitting needles for knitting instead of making jump rings!
