Description:

I did a St. Patricks Day Whimsy jar a couple years ago and it was so much fun so I decided to host a Christmas one! It's really super easy and fun!

For this swap you will send your partner a 16oz jar full to the brim of whimsy spectacular-ness! Everything in the jar must relate to Christmas in some way... Think green & red, Santa, Snowmen, ect. Some things you can include-fun stickers, a small ornament, christmas jewelry, ect. Just fill your jar up with fun Christmasy things!

  1. Do NOT just send a jar filled with stickers--it needs to be filled with many different things related to Christmas.
  2. Be sure to also include a note with your swap with the swap name and your user name.
  3. You will have 1 partner---the jar can be plastic or glass--I use mason jars--they are cheap and you can get them at Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby or anywhere-a 16oz mason jar is a pint-just a regular mason jar:

If you don't know what a whimsy jar is do a search and you will get all the info that you need. I also have a picture of the St. Patricks Day jar I did on my profile under swap/bot sent and received.

Is it a pint jar (8oz) or a mason (16oz)?

A 1 pint jar is equal to 16oz. It can be any kind of jar as long as it is at least 160z. I am using a mason jar.

I wouldn't feel comfortable joining with newbies allowed. If they had to have a certain amount of type 3 swaps then maybe. Whimsey jars can be a little pricey plus the goodies you have to add to it to fill it completely. I've done a couple. If it is glass you have to pack it good so it doesn't break while reaching its destination. It is your swap though.
