Description:

For this swap you will make 3 envelopes for your partner decorated in a Valentine's Day theme. Either Valentine's Day paper and/or red or pink cardstock decorated with die cuts, stamps, etc. in a Valentine's Day theme.

The envelopes need to be big enough to mail - no mini or gift card sized envelopes.

You should use heavy-duty cardstock or sturdy calendar pages to create your envelopes. DO NOT use magazine pages as they are too thin and not durable enough. These envelopes need to be strong enough, and of good enough quality, that your partner can use them to mail out. Each envelope needs to be different - do not use the same paper for all three envelopes. You should use paper that has a color, design, pattern or picture. No white envelopes.

Please put the handmade envelopes in an envelope big enough that you do not have to fold the handmade envelopes to mail them.

Make sure to mail them out on time and rate when you receive your swap.

Any questions please let me know!

So...patterned scrap book papers would not be OK? They are not heavy-duty cardstock, but I use them all the time for envelopes with no issues.

Yes, you can use patterned scrap book paper because that's usually a bit thicker than a magazine page or copy paper. As long as it's sturdy, it's fine.
