12 Tags of 2016 - January

I am new here and I would like some clarification, please. Seven years ago, I took a class with Tim Holtz and learned all of his tag techniques that he had then. I also went on his website and looked at the tags he has done for the past few years. Would this swap be our version of the 2016 tag? Or can we combine techniques from past years to make something unique? Thank you for your time answering my questions.

@VCK1 You are free to use other techniques. It is nice if your partner recognizes some technniques or decorations on the tag based on Tim"s tag of the correspondent month. You do not have to make an exact copy of his tag. I hope my explanation helps;)

Buying the items is half the fun but does anyone have ideas for what do with the tags?

i usually make 2-3 tags...offer 1 or 2, and keep the last one! i have a string on my wall and i hang them...then i use a few as book mark.... i do them more the technical side....learning, practising things youbwould not have the idea...

That is a good idea@maxette. I use them as bookmarkers and the bulky or too inky ones I keep in a bundle. I just like the fact that I accomplish these tags, otherwise the idea to try these techniques will stuck in my planner:)
