Bible Study: My Sermon Notes

Are you a sermon note-taker? I am. If you aren't, you really should consider it. It is amazing how even just jotting down the Scripture used and a few key points can really help the message sink in.

For this swap, you will need to take sermon notes for three weeks at church. You could take them from your main Sunday service or even from a mid-week service that you attend if a message is shared. The choice is up to the sender.

After you have taken notes for three messages, simply copy your notes (photocopy or by hand) and send the copies to your partner. You should receive notes from three services also. This way we can see what God is doing in other churches that we might not normally attend. I love noticing what different churches and different note-takers get from the same passages. I actually keep my sermon notes sorted by Scripture book to compare.
