Description:

I just love Advent Calendars so I think we need another one!

For this swap we will take 25 envelopes (with or without cards) and put a (mainly flat) goodie inside!

Ideas are: Nice sheet of stickers, ATC's, bookmarks, patches, gift tags, tea, flat candies, a poem or recipe (nicely made, not just scribbled on paper) other flat or almost flat goodies. Things can be Christmas themed or not, but mixing it up is a great idea!

  • 25 envelopes total (NOT letter envelopes, they are crappy and are usually too small.) envies not to use
  • Each envelope should be labeled with a number 1-25
  • Each envelope should be decorated a little with drawings or nice words or stickers.
  • These do not have to be white store bought envelopes, but can be envelopes you make (maybe out of scrapbook paper or Christmas paper?)
  • Make sure number 25 is something nice for them to open on Christmas!
  • Please check your partners profile to make sure you don't send anything unwanted. Sending items on their wish list is NOT required (but nothing dirty, used, smelly, smoky, covered in pet fur)
  • Make this something you would want to receive!
  • No price on this as it will vary.

  • USA and Canada only

  • 4.8 rating (I reserve the right to ban or approve any questionable swappers regardless of rating requirement and will do so after sign-up ends)
  • No newbies, less than 5 rated swaps = newbie.
  • I cannot angel
  • Aim for hearts ;-)

International version (please note the dates are different for each version)

I'm not sure what you mean by "not letter envelopes"?

zigg13pra 09/28/2008 #

Hmm, now to explain it better. Business lettter envelopes, ya know, the ones you buy in the store that are 50 to 200 in a box, are really long but not wide, and aren't as nice as the envelopes that you use to put cards in.

Great idea! I have already got most of my stuff put together!

HeideC 10/10/2008 #

Are they to be bound together?

kgeslab 10/10/2008 #

I assume some should be based on the profile, right?

zigg13pra 10/13/2008 #

@HeideC nope, they can be loose that's just fine. It's preferable to send them in a box or big bubble envie depending on the size of them and that's good enough to have them all 'together' :D

@kgeslab it states "Please check your partners profile to make sure you don't send anything unwanted. Sending items on their wish list is NOT required (but nothing dirty, used, smelly, smoky, covered in pet fur)" so no, but of course sending things that they absolutely love is a great way to get hearts!

I added a linked example of what envies not to use, if anyone has a problem with this, please do not join.

um...I am just letting know....I used primarily 5.5x8" envies, but had a few items that were too long and used #10 (colored & decorated...not plain) for those to avoid folding or cutting anything.
