Description:

This swap lets us share the images of our stamps. The books will travel among the swappers until they are full, and then be returned to their originators.

If you are joining this swap for the first time, please follow these Round One instructions:

Make or buy a small notebook of something like mixed media paper. Folded flat, it will be about 4 inches square or so. It should have a total of about ten pages. Cover is optional. Be sure to put your name and address somewhere in the book so that it can find its way back to you when it is full. Send it to your assigned partner. You will, of course, receive a book from your swap partner. You rate that partner and that is the book you will stamp in for the next round.

Next Rounds: You will stamp a rubber, clear, or hand carved stamp, even a potato print into it. Ink colors, added decoration, embossing, all are your choice on the page you decorate. Be creative! Have fun!

Add your Swap-bot name and the date. You might add a separate note with the book identifying the swap name and round number.

If you are the person who decorates the last page, please do so and send it home to the person who made the book. You will then need to make a new book to send out to your partner. Please do not forward a full book to someone else to send home.

This is an International swap. But the postage cost for most books will only be for one ounce.

Please DO NOT commit to this series of swaps if you won't actually fulfill your obligations. No flakers, please!

I understand that you might need a break or decide it's just not your thing. That's fine, but if you decide not to participate any more, please have the courtesy to return the book to it's owner or to me.

Please rate your partners each round. You rate a five if you receive a swap. If your swap is late, contact your partner AND me, via Swap-bot; then get it moving as soon as possible!

Any questions? Feel free to contact me. Have fun and Happy Swapping!

Hi Lihior Can you see the image at the top of this post? I tried to explain it in the description of the swap. Just a simple homemade book is fine. I used pages from a pad of mixed media paper. I cut 4 pieces of paper 4" X 8". Then I folded them in half to make 8 pages that were 4 X 4 each. I used a small hole punch and punched two holes along the fold about 1/2" from the top and 1/2" from the bottom. Then I "bound" the book with some colored twine. You can see in the picture how LilyLupin used ribbon. I hope this makes it clear and you join us. :-)

LillyLupin.... Once I receive a book then stamp it; whom do I send to next if it isn't complete yet? Back to the owner or to the person I sent mine to in the beginning???? Help!
