Halloween is right around the corner! Who doesn't love fancy and fun envelopes?! I know I do:) for this swap: -You will have 1 partner to send 10 hand made envelopes to. -Preferably A2 and DL -Any medium welcome but should be HALLOWEEN THEMED. Think candy corn, fun monsters, ghosts, spider webs, purple, green, orange, etc :) -No more than 2 solid colors -Don't forget to include a swap card with your info and the swap name. Example of a great package: 2 solid color envelope 8 Halloween themed envelopes Newbies welcome. Will angel if necessary. *PLEASE be sure your double sided tape works WELL. From my personal envelope making experience I have seen some tapes in the past that stay stuck/shut for 30 minutes but I've come back to find the envelope "popped" open. So if it's your first time using a new tape let it sit for a day or so and check it out before sending to your partner:)

When I use any envelopes, handmade or not, I usually put a piece of clear tape over the seal. I have received many envelopes that have popped open and not all have been handmade. I have found living in Florida that no seal sticks good enough for me.

I'm not into Halloween, but it is my husband's FAVORITE holiday. As he is just getting started into pen paling, I'd like to request that these envelopes be directed towards him please. He is a HUGE vampire buff! LOVES LOVES LOVES vampires! Also like werewolves and skulls. Realistic, cute, romantic, goth...he'd love them all! (He reads practically nothing but vampire mysteries & vampire/paranormal romance) His name is Clayton. Thanks!

Pinkpolarbear- your partner may choose to honor your request as best they can but this isn't a "profile based" swap. Therefore their rating should not be dependent upon meeting your specific requests:)

The internet says DL are 110 x 220 mm (4.333" x 8.666") and A2 are 111 x 146 mm (4.375" x 5.75"), sooo... those are two different sizes... which one is required? Or is the size just a recommendation? Is there a minimum size? Thanks!

Those are not "requirements," just recommendations:) DL is the typical long envelope your bills come in and A2 is closer to the less rectangular shape you might receive a greeting card in. No real "minimum" size requirement, just common sense. I wouldn't send 10 super small envelopes. Lol
