Black and white only ATC

Can they be abstract, or must they have images? I could do both, but I think an abstract would be cool susi

I did not realize that the sign up and send dates were close together...can we have more time? many of us have multiple swaps going on, and only 8 days turn around seems a bit tight... jmho. susi

i hope I have understanding partners, lol! One of the ATCs I made for each is pretty cool, but the second is my very first attempt at doing a fabric one, and I am not a seamstress! but other than that, the fabric is nice, in spite of the bad handstitching! I still have to make one more, I hope it comes out better... you know, practice makes perfect! susi

I made all four as one long piece and then cut it apart, it's sort of a collage/doodle combination, including some bar codes because they're black and white and I like how they look. I uploaded the four together on my Flickr page:

I got the most intersting way to swap buttons today, thai was pleasantly surprised! My partner has stiched all of my buttons in groups of three on a piece of burlap type material, and wrote a lovely note. although I don't have her name handy at the moment, THANKS!!! susi

Hi grannystamper! I got your beautiful b&w ATCs. They are awesome. The one with the bottles reminds me of Jesus. I think it's the quote, it's similar to something said at the last supper so the twist on that is really neat.

I recieved an envelope with no ATC's in it today from you :( It looks like it was open from the side, all that was left inside was a plastic bag and a little note. Very disapointing, did you manage to take photos of them? I'd love to see them. Never had anything like that happen before. Although I just moved here and have been having problems with the postal service down this way.

Hi all, I'm enjoying the ATCs I've been receiving, but got a mystery package yesterday--a shredded envelope in the POst Office's dreaded "WE CARE" plastic bag! It only had two scraps of paper in it, a piece of vellum with little blue squares pattern and a very pale pastel tea party design on the other. The return address said Alice McCaig from Texas, but no id as to which swap iot was for on the envelope.

This is another sad reminder that it's impossible to identify things we get in the mail unless you put the swap and your username on the outside of the envie as well as inside. Since we don't get to see our list of senders until the rating time comes well after the end of the swap, I'm going to have to post this message in all my (many) open swaps until I find Alice and give her the bad news. :( This might have been a paper swap, or an ATC with some nice extras, I can't tell.
