Hi! I just joined! I really am all about bookmarks and tea so I'm really looking forward for this. But I was wondering if it would be too much to ask people for a tracking number. I live in Mexico and always have to place tracking on everything I send (or pay for to receive) otherwise it ends lost or appears months later and with cristmas coming I'm afraid things will get slower than usual.

Happy to have you!

Unfortunately for many of us, tracking is not an option or is way too costly :) I know for me in Canada, tracking would be about $30 or more and it's not always reliable once it leaves my country.

@degard I'm clueless on how it works in other countries, but here in the USA, we can put tracking on it, but the tracking is only good within the USA. Once it leaves the country, that's it, it's no longer trackable.

I use tracking # for every package I send, except naked postcards as the Postal Office do not give me option for those... I undrstand you @Degard same problem here but what I have found easier is to use a PoBox so things get straight to the Postal Office and not my home... It is near by so I walk there every 2 or 3 days to check my box....

@sassafrass I'm just wondering if these have to be paper or if they can be done in another medium? such as a quilted or crochet bookmark?

sassafrass 11/17/2016 #

@clothandpaperstudio For this one I'm leaving it at paper, but I would love for us to perhaps do an artist's choice one in future :) I don't want to change it now as some may have already started/finished their swap. Thanks for the idea!

Oh well, it was worth asking, over here tracking for letters is very cheap, like $1.50 usd so it never came to mind that it could be so expensive in other places. @clothandpaperstudio I always put tracking on items I receive and my post service does keep the tracking but now that I read your comment I'm not sure if other postal services keep the track provided here. Thanks for all your answers! :)
