What can you make with 1,200 seconds? Zines are having a moment again. They're little self published works of magic, on ANY topic(s) you want: poetry, politics, art, ideas, comic strips, stories, non-fiction, journaling, memoir, brain dump, drawings, even total randomness.
A mini zine is made from 1 sheet of standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Fold it and cut it along one edge and BOOM you have 8 mini pages to work with. Never made a zine before? Try it! You may get hooked! You may become a collector. For help with folding mini zines, check out these links. It's super easy; I promise! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4Pb5tLQ4NE https://www.pinterest.com/pin/70579919136790530/ A suggestion: fold two sheets of paper into blank mini zines. You'll create on one and the other will be your template. Number each page of your folded blank mini zine template. Use big numbers. Unfold your template -- now you'll know which order the pages will end up once folded and you'll know which pages need to be created upside down. Use this to keep track of your pages while you make your zine. Once you're all done, photocopy your zine and send 1 copy to each of your 2 partners. Spread your creation. It's gonna be great! 4.95 and above to play. Non-rated with detailed profiles may join. Message me with questions or concerns. |
