ISS: Themed Snail Mail

This is the first swap I'm hosting in this group, yay!

I thought I should start with something simple and fun. You’ll have one partner and you’ll be sending the following:

• A decorated envelope
• A flat surprise
• A card or postcard

And here’s the kick, the decorated envelope and the flat surprise must be themed (both should be the same theme). So you could choose a flat surprise first and use it as your inspiration to decorate the envie. This is a sender’s choice swap so you can start working on your swap as soon as you want.

The card or postcard can be whatever you want, it doesn’t have to be themed, but it could if you want. Write a nice message for your partner on it and remember to add your username and swap name so she can rate you.

• Dogs
• Animals
• Cupcakes
• Candy
• Birthday
• Seasons (Summer, Spring, Fall, Winter)
• Watercolor
• Travel
• Fairytale
• Music
• Vintage

You get the idea, choose any theme you want and have fun with this swap!

Some flat surprise ideas:

• Post it
• Notepad
• Sticker sheet
• Die cuts (at least 5)
• Washi tape samples (at least 5, 12 inch/30 centimeters each)
• Teabag
• Blank card
• Blank postcard
• Tags (at least 2)

You can also send a little bit of whatever you have in your stash, as long as it’s good as new and you think your partner will enjoy.

I’m giving you plenty of time to send out your swap, and you can start working on it even before partners are assigned. All I ask is for you to put your heart into this swap and have fun. Since it’s a mail art swap, no sticker slapping please. You can still go for something simple, you don’t need to be super talented, all you need to do is send something with love.
