Description:

I have set a goal for myself to write 365 letters in 2017! I don't have 365 family members so I'm all about swapping letters...

Write a letter! The letter must be at least 2 pages long. If you want to use a note card for the 1st page and then your 2nd page on something else it is perfectly fine.

What do we write about: ANYTHING THAT COMES TO MIND

Some where on your letter please make sure to write the swap name and your user name! (THIS IS A SWAP REQUIREMENT) I am in many letter swaps and it is very time consuming to go through ever letter swap to find and rate when it is not marked on the swap! Newbies are welcomed with at least 1 rated type 2 or 3 swap! Swappers trying to get their ratings back up are Welcomed as well just please don't have a 1 as your last rating.

I hope my partner will write to me about something she thinks will interest me (almost anything if it's described and not just mentioned: for example people tell me they have "fur babies" - it would be fun to know what kind, their names, what is special about them -of course the same is true of real children. The place you live, the job you do, some of your favorite things...you get the idea. These aren't penpal introductory letters, so don't ask me questions.

@junemoon that's very useful input. Thanks

OMGoodness, NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@junemoon I had you as a partner and after reading your profile I was so scared of how you were going to rate me as it makes your hair stand on edge if they write in text form and not knowing weather you would think lol was writing you in text form. I as in ME MYSELF AND I am the host of these letter swaps and as the swap requirements say they can write about ANYTHING THAT COMES TO MIND....

These letter swaps are meant to be fun... Not to be stressed out about how to write the letter or what to write about. You don't have to include names of animals or children if you don't want to that is up to the writer of the letter. I normally ask a few questions (even though they are not penpal intro. letters because there is about 15 of us that swap regularly in these swaps and so we end up writing back to the person in the next few swaps and its always easier for me to have a few questions to know what they would like to know about.....

Um, wow. OK. I thought this was a fun thing, but tensions are rising. Yikes. Anyway, I just wanted to comment that I'm in Massachusetts and the whole state seems to be closed down (except my kids online school) for this fun little storm we're having. I'll put my letter out for pick up, but not sure when it will actually GO, you know? Earlier this winter, when we've had heavy snow falls, we wouldn't get mail for 2-3 days (and I don't live in a rural area) and things I dropped in the blue boxes would be a week or more getting to where they're going. :(

@USAFwife These are supposed to be fun and I won't let someone dictate how a letter is to be written.... How you write a letter is up to you as the writer.... What you talk about in your letters are up to you! I hope you enjoy and will join these again... As for the mail I think everyone that has joined will understand as it's weather related and not just you not sending. Happy Swapping.

@jaimierandolph - good to know. :) And ... my daughter would name your cows. Seriously (she's 14, but every living thing must have a name. haha.) When we lived in Ohio, we had a TON of squirrels in our backyard, and they all had different scars and markings - so they all got named. I have an odd family. :)
