Description: | |
This is a swap dedicated to postcards related to The USA's aviation history. Don't bring modern politics into these swaps. Let's keep them all historic, shall we? For this swap, you will send one store bought postcard related to USA's aviation history. Please be specific. For instance, a postcard showing the Wright Brother's first flight would be fine - a postcard of the Outer Banks of North Carolina wouldn't be specific enough. This postcard can relate to any part of America's aviation history. This swap is limited to US only. Newbies will be allowed with a filled out profile. Sign ups will close on May 20th - the same day that Charles Lindbergh completed the first solo nonstop flight between New York and Paris (1927) and (five years later) Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic. Postcards must be sent by May 30th - the anniversary of Wilbur Wright's death. |
