This is a relatively easy swap, flat mail, and easy on the wallet to get this Tim Holtz group up and running again, just as my broken hip is doing---well, not running, but up and getting around. Simple instructions: Send ONE Tim Holtz style, SUMMER-themed ATC to ONE PARTNER. 1.Use at least TWO authentic Tim Holtz products on your ATC. For example, you might choose an ATC background from one of his paper collections, use his Distress Inks, use one or more of his ephemera products, a stamp, Distress markers or crayons (I haven’t used these yet.), stencils, embossing folders, found relatives, etc. Remember to keep a SUMMER THEME---ROAD TRIP, BEACH, CAMPING AND HIKING, GARDENING AND HARVESTING, FLOWERS, PICNICS, HANGIN’ AT THE POOL, PATRIOTIC HOLIDAY: Memorial Day, July 4, etc. 2.To stimulate your creativity, you may want to watch a couple of his instructional videos on You Tube. I will provide a few links below that may be helpful. You might also get some ideas from Pinterest. Again, I will post a couple links below, but you can do a search on Pinterest for “Tim Holtz Spring Tags.†Any tag idea can be pared down to fit on an ATC. 3.This is a SENDER’S CHOICE, so you may get started as soon as this swap is posted, but if you can afford the time to wait until you can read your partner’s profile, you’ll be sure to use her/his preferred colors, etc. The remaining seasonal-themed ATC swaps for Autumn, and Winter (NOT Christmas, just winter season ATC) will be posted as the season appropriate dates are set, but since these ATCs are SENDERS CHOICE, you can do all four seasons and have them ready in advance for the appropriate send date for your partner’s assigned for each swap. 4.Remember to label your ATC with the swap group, name of swap, and your user name on back of ATC. Attach your ATC to a strong piece of cardboard—I use boxes from cereal and other kitchen boxes for most of my ATC backings. 5.If you have questions, please feel free to ask them by sending me a PM through Swap Bot or make comments in the box for each swap. 6.Have fun—maybe stretch yourself a bit and try a new technique or product to see how it works for you. I am posting this swap now and will add the links later. |
