Description:

Ok, now this is my first time at hosting a swap, so I hope I get it right.

This swap is for anyone that loves cross stitch and is International.

As Christmas is nearly here I thought it would be nice for us cross stitchers to receive a gift we can open on Christmas Day. You will have 1 partner.

In this swap you will fill a small Christmas stocking with cross stitch related goodies for your partner. The stocking can be handmade or store bought.

Please fill your stocking with at least 5 cross stitch related goodies, spending between £5-£8. Please do not count 5 pieces of aida or 5 threads as your 5 gifts. You could either send a large piece of material or maybe a couple of smaller sized pieces. Count 2 pieces of material say 5" x 5" min as 1 item and 3 threads as 1 item.

Ideas of gifts could be:-

Aida or Evenweave, Threads, Small Kit, Buttons, Charms, Keyrings, Coasters, Needles, Aperture Cards, Trinket Box, Frames.

I am sure you can probably think of other items too.

Aim for hearts - maybe you could make your partner a cross stitched gift - Bookmark, Coaster, Keyring, some Notecards, Christmas Tree Ornament etc. They do not have to be christmas theme related, you can choose what theme for your handmade item.

Please make sure that you wrap your gifts, so that they remain a surprise until Christmas Day. :)

As this is a surprise swap, please do not list what you would/wouldn't like. However, please list whether you use Aida or Evenweave or both to help your partner.

Open to anyone with a rating of 4.8 and above with no No-Sends in the last 4 months. Newbies are welcome as long as you have a fully filled out profile. I am quite a newbie myself, so know we all have to start somewhere. Please do not let me down by not sending. I will ban anyone who does not meet the swap requirements. I'm sorry but I will not be able to angel.

I use aida, prefer 14 count in any color.

I use evenweave as a preference (28ct or 32ct) or a smaller count such as 18 in Aida.
