Letter Swap: Favorite Read of the Year

For this swap, you will write your partner a letter about your "favorite" book (that you) read within the last 12 months.

In the letter you will provide the full title and author, a 3-5 sentence (minimum) summary of the book, and your brief assessment of the book--what you liked about it and what you disliked about it, how it compares to other books you've read, etc. The idea is that you'll say more than "I loved it." Explain to your partner why the book is your favorite read of the last 12 months, what makes it compelling.

The letter may be handwritten or typed.

Keep in mind that this is a letter. It should not be squeezed onto a postcard or (small) notecard.

That's it. Easy-peasy, right?

Also include a flat tuck-in--a bookmark or postcard or anything book-related.

This is a one-stamp swap. I've designated it a Type 3 because it takes time to consider and write about a book.
