 Get ready to put something super special together for your swap partner!
SENDERS CHOICE VERSION!
~ Swap-Bot is such a lovely place! So many kind, thoughtful and upbeat swappers here! Though it's often hard to know what other swappers are going through in their own lives. Sometimes we struggle with our emotions, our health, family, friends, work, etc. So I decided to create this swap to put a smile on someone else's face! Lets encourage each other to continue to push forward, stay positive, and really let ourselves shine! So what do you think, ready to make someones day?!~
For this swap we'll be creating a single whimsy jar for our 1 partner. This will be SENDERS CHOICE! Meaning all items you include can be of your own choosing. HOWEVER PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF YOUR PARTNERS ALLERGIES IF THEY HAVE ANY! (for example items smelling of smoke can be harmful to those with allergies or asthma, etc)
This time, we'll be using a 6oz baby food jar, or a jar of equal size, instead of a full size ball jar. You're more than welcome to create a larger jar if you wish, however the requirements are just a 6oz jar. I am allowing a good amount of time for sign ups, and two weeks after sign ups to send. Since this is senders choice you can start putting goodies together now!
We will also decorate the lid to our whimsy jar after we've filled it! Cover it in fabric with lace, or decorative gems, or even decoden it with whip/cabochons, whatever your heart desires!
The last thing we'll do for this swap is create a personalized tag for your whimsy jar, to tie around the jars mouth! On this tag lets write a positive quote, sentance, or inspiring phrase to brighten and boost our partners spirit! On the back of the tag, Include both your Swap-Bot name and the name of this swap.
So that's it!
6oz baby food jar (or equivalent)
Filled with tons of teeny tiny goodies for your partner (see below for suggestions)
Decorate the lid
Tie a tag to the mouth of your jar, with an inspiring or positive message on it :)
Pack nicely and send!
Of course glass jars can be heavy, even baby food jars, so plastic containers would be suitable as well.
Items should be LOOSE inside of the jar. If you purchase something wrapped, such as a blind bag toy or a bag of tiny erasers, buttons, etc, you should open the bag and dump the loose items into the jar. The idea is to put the tiniest things on the bottom, then layer items by size as you fill to the top, with the largest items up top, to fill as much space of the jar as possible! I've included images for examples, and will post more images below in the comment section!
Items that you may include:
 Tiny figures or toys!
Keychains or cell phone charms
Ribbon or washi tape samples! (let's keep them at least 2 feet long for samples!)
Stickers
You could create phone charms or keyrings out of polymer clay or resin and include some of those!
You could include inchies or little tiny papercrafts!
Candies or tiny snacks! (Just check in case of allergies! Nuts etc!)
Cabochons, buttons, or decorative gems!
These are just suggestions. There's tons of things you could add! Use your imagination ^_^ Of course handmade goodies are welcome if you'd like, though please do your best!
Do your best when putting together these whimsy jars! Please follow the instructions. REMEMBER, THIS IS SENDERS CHOICE! Though the point is still to put a smile on your partners face, and really make their day! Put together something that you would enjoy receiving if it were your gift, something that you're super proud to share with someone else! We want to warm our partners heart with our lovely package!
I will be very diligent while checking profiles for this swap, since there is a lot involved. No participants with ratings lower than 4.99, must have 50 completed type 2/3 swaps with positive ratings under your belts, and no recent 1s or 3s. (Recent = within 1 year) I reserve the right to ban as needed, and I WILL do so.
Also, this swap IS USA only however due to the size of the jar, and depending if you use a glass or plastic jar this will be a bit heavy, so please be mindful of shipping costs, as they will cost much more to send than some of our smaller or lighter swaps!
