Description:

Make a small book to trade and gather favorite stamped images from other swappers. The books will travel among the participants until they are full, and then be returned to their originators.

If you are joining this swap for the first time, please follow these Round One instructions:

Make or buy a small book of something like mixed media paper (oftentimes ink will bleed through if using copier paper). Folded flat, it will be about 4 inches square or so.

Pages can be glued, sewn, stapled together - whatever works! It should be a total of only six to eight pages. This is an international swap, so we need to be mindful of postage costs. A book that weighs three ounces or more is too heavy!

Be sure to put your name and address somewhere in the book so that it can find its way back to you when it is full.

Send it to your assigned partner. You will receive a book from your swap partner. You rate that partner, then you will stamp in that book and send it off in the next round.

Next Rounds: You will stamp a rubber, clear, or hand carved stamp, even a potato print into it. Ink colors, added decoration, embossing, all are your choice on the page you decorate. Be creative! Have fun!

Add your Swap-bot name and the date. You might add a separate note with the book.

If you are the person who decorates the last page, please do so and send it home to the person who made the book. You will then need to make a new book to send out to your partner. Please do not forward a full book to someone else to send home.

This is an International swap. But the postage cost for most books will only be for one ounce.

Please DO NOT commit to this series of swaps if you won't actually fulfill your obligations. No flakers, please! And realize that the number of pages in your book determines the number of rounds before your book returns to you.

I understand that you might need a break or decide it's just not your thing. That's fine, but if you decide not to participate any more, please have the courtesy to return the book to it's owner or to me.

Please rate your partners each round. You rate a five if you receive a swap. If your swap is late, contact your partner AND me, via Swap-bot; then get it moving as soon as possible!

Any questions? Feel free to contact me. Have fun and Happy Swapping!

elflady So we stamp a page in the book and then decorate the page and stamp. Is that correct?
