Description: | |
For this swap, you will maintain a log / journal / notebook (whatever you so choose) outlining 1 favorite moment, per day, throughout the month of April. If you are keeping a journal but don't want to send your journal away, be sure to write your moment twice, once for your personal journal and once for your swap partner. EVERY entry should have the date, and your favorite moment should be a minimum of 1-3 sentences, but feel free to write as much as you want about it, especially if 1-3 sentences doesn't make it clear why it was a favorite moment. The finished product should have 31 entries. Feel free to get as creative as you want with this. For example, you can write in calligraphy or with markers, doodle, put stickers, add an applicable quote, etc. You could even three hole punch white paper and bind it with ribbon - the possibilities are endless, but since this IS a Type 3 swap, there should be some sort of creative / decorative element in addition to your favorite moment (see sentence 2 of this paragraph for ideas). My intention is to host this monthly so that by the end of the year, we have a collection of great vibes from others. I intend to keep a copy for myself too so I can look back at all of the great, small things that have happened throughout 2018 when I may have forgotten them. You MUST have no less than a 4.98 rating to participate in this swap. No recent 1s or 3s received - recent in this swap is defined as within the last 6 months - 1s or 3s older than 6 months that have no clear resolution will also be disqualified. This swap is open to all so keep this in mind when you choose how you want to maintain your favorite moments. This is a great swap for reflection and to get all of those who have resolved to keep a journal for 2018 in the habit of doing so. It is also a great way to open our eyes to the things that make a day great that we tend to overlook or take for granted. Finally, this is a great way to focus on the positive things that happen in a day instead of stewing in the negative things that happen in our day. |
