AI: Acrylic paint on craft paper

Cut a manageable piece of brown or white craft paper. I use the craft paper that comes rolled up on a tube but you can also use a brown paper bag from the grocery store. This piece will be cut down to ATC (s) size later.

Now apply several colors of acrylic paint that go well together. I spread it around with a damp sea sponge but have also used a paint brush or old credit card. However, I like the sea sponge or any sponge the best. The paint can over-lap. I usually spray on black webbing, but this step is optional.

Cut the dry painted craft paper down to your ATC size of 2.5 x 3.5 & glue it to cardstock to make it sturdier. Finish your ATC any way you want but be sure your beautiful background shows too. Add a sturdy backing to your ATC.
