May Stocking Stuffer ~ Spring Door Hanger

You will have one partner and you will make her a spring themed door knob hanger. It needs to have a ribbon or wire or something that's long enough to go over most any kind f door knob. It does not need to be weather proof - I'm thinking you'll probably hang these indoors anyway.

You all know what the room service/ do not disturb door knob signs look like from motel rooms, right? Well yours should be at least that big and bigger if you so choose. It can be made of sturdy cardboard, wood, metal, anything that is durable. If you choose to use cardboard, please cover it on both sides so it looks nicely finished. I like to use vintage book covers when I make door knob hangers. Then I use all the fun vintage crap I can find and really decorate the heck out of them ~ flowers, doilies, vintage needlework scraps, rusty bits, frozen charlottes, steampunk stuff, old photos, buttons, etc. But that's my taste. Everyone has their own preferences, so it would be a good idea to look over your partner's profile for inspiration. This swap is sender's choice. These are a lot of FUN to make.
