Audio books are awesome!

I love audio books. Not only can you continue a story while driving, but they make chores less tiresome. And, you get a different view of the story. You hear what the author wrote, not what you choose to read or skim over. I heard Stephen King comment about that in an interview, and I think that is very true.

But not many people seem to really enjoy audio books. So I thought this swap could be a way for us to find others who also enjoy audio books! If you are a long time listener, or just started, listen all the time or just in the car, please join in and share your experience. :) For this swap you do need to have experience with audio books. If you haven't listened to audio books, this isn't the swap for you.

This will be a flat rate swap for a letter - handwritten or typed is fine, on stationery, in a note card, or on plain white paper - that's all up to you. This swap is about the words rather than the decoration. :) Be as creative as you wish. But NO postcards!

You will have on partner, and this will be International. Write your partner a letter talking about your experience with audio books. How did you first discover them, do you have favorite narrators or types of books you prefer as audio? Where do you get your audio books? Take some time to talk about audio books (you don't have to answer these questions, just something to get you thinking), don't just write "books are kewl" and put it in the mail. I don't want to set a required amount to write, but share your story, your experience, so at least a page.

Rating of 4.98 or above, and if you have any 1's or 3's on your profile, they need to be addressed - if you can't make something up, just explain that. Be upfront. If I have any questions about your ratings or profile, I will send you a message. If you don't reply, you will be banned from the swap. Communication is key! :)
