1 Subject, 3 Angles

For this swap you'll have 2 partners and you'll send each partner 3 photos. Each of the 3 photos should be of the very same subject/object/thing but taken from different angles--thereby giving you an opportunity to experiment and giving your partner a trio of perspectives on your chosen subject.

Any subject from any perspective is fair game as long as all 3 photos are of the same thing. "Same thing" is very literal for this swap--for example, not 3 pictures of different trees, but 3 pictures of the same tree. For instance, if your subject were, in fact, a particular tree, you could have a close-up of a leaf, a picture taken looking directly up into the branches, and a picture of the entire tree against the horizon.

Any kind of camera, any size print, any degree of digital alteration (or none at all). Matte or glossy paper, printed professionally or at home, is also up to you; just be sure you're sending good prints of a kind that you'd be happy to receive. And please send your photos in an envelope (not as postcards or electronically).

I'm setting the sign-up deadline after the holidays, but since the swap isn't specific to the profile of your partners, you can start taking pictures as soon as you sign up if you'd like. And I hope you'll enjoy this opportunity to look at things from all sides....
