Shhhhhh... I Have A Secret

We all have secrets. Some of us have secrets that are eating away at our very core. What if you had the chance to let one of these secrets out to a complete stranger without fear of being judged or ridiculed? Well, now is your chance to do so with a bit of an artistic twist.

There is a website called http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ which allows you to mail anonymous postcards to the website owner divulging your deepest and darkest secrets. Most senders decorate their post cards with collages making them more interesting and pleasing to the eye, which you can see examples of on the website.

For this swap you will create two ‘postcards’ that are 4x6 inches in size revealing a secret about you. This can just be a silly little secret ( like I still sleep with a teddy bear or I have a lucky pair of underwear ) to something more deep ( such as something that happened to you or something you did that you have told very few people about ). Be creative and look to the Post Secret website for ideas on creating your postcards. You can either create a postcard from a blank cardstock base or add something to a postcard you already have at home. You can send each partner the same secret or you can send a different secret to each partner. The choice is yours.

Each participant will have two partners. You will send one postcard to each partner inside an envelope to help minimize cards getting lost in the mail ( something that tends to happen a lot with postcard swaps ). The idea of this swap is to get a little something off your shoulders in a creative way.

Newbies are welcome to join but you must have a valid email address and a complete profile filled out! I will be checking!

Swappers with ratings must have a rating of 4 or higher and no more than three no sends. If you feel this is unfair message me and we will discuss your participation!

Postcards must be sent inside an envelope! This is part of the mailing requirements I’m setting to help minimize lost cards!

Anyone who signs up for this swap and does not send by the specified time will be banned from any future swaps I may host!

If this swap gathers a lot of interest I may host a similar swap every month from here on out which will be centered around certain themes ( such as a secret from your childhood for one month and a secret about someone you dated for another ).
