Altered Text Mail ART

In this swap, you will create either one found poetry ATC OR one found poetry mail art postcard, for your one partner. Postcards may be any size and are to be mailed Naked. Please mail ATCs in a decorated envelope, and put your artist info on the backside.

To create one of these styles, simply glue text, like a book page or two, newspaper, or magazine page, etc, to your base. Then search the words to make your own story/poetry. Circle or Box your words and connect them in order of how they should be read. Do not just circle random words and call it done.....actually try to make something that makes sense.

You can do blackout poetry (where you color out everything except your chosen words) or found poetry, also sometimes called altered text poetry (where you circle your words and connect them in some way) . You can then choose to draw a design, or use color, or one color to highlight around your words.
