Description:

April 6th is National "Sorry, Charlie" day! Yeah, weird, I know. In honor of Sorry Charlie Day, send your partner one pick-me-up package for the next time they are in sore need of encouragement. This will probably be either a small package or sort-of-fat flat mail, but there is no requirement for size. If you can figure out a fun package in a flat mail envie, go for it!

Package ideas: a note of encouragement, a magnet, card, or little framed encouraging quote or Bible verse, a yummy snack (check food allergies etc), something from their profile, a Charlie Brown comic strip, really ANYTHING you can come up with that might brighten someone's day. (Cute postage stamps, stamped images, okay now that I'm thinking about it, this could even be a single-stamp swap) Dollar Tree items, handmade items, etc all perfectly acceptable.

Include at least three items to brighten someone's day and decorate the envie or package in a sorry-charlie-ish manner (?) Mostly, have fun!

I had to look this up to remember where Sorry Charlie originated and had fun watching some of the old Starkist tuna commercials. It was fun to see how the commercials changed over the years to meet the public's expectations. This research helps me put together a better swap with the intent of encouragement to be a better tuna LOL
