BTH: Oracle Card Reading

It's been a while, but I thought I'd try to breathe a little life back into this group now that I'm back from my break!

For this first swap, we're going to pull an oracle card for our partner! When partners are assigned, read your partner's profile carefully. If you need to send a DM to get a better feel for your partner, please do. Then select a deck of oracle cards (please note, for this swap we are NOT using Tarot. Oracle cards only) and focus on your partner. Draw one card from the deck for him or her.

After you've selected the card, scan and print it. Paste the printed card onto a sheet of paper or into a note card, and hand write the details of the card, including meaning or potential meaning. Be detailed please - don't just scribble a few words and call it a day. This should be a focused and thoughtful swap.

In a Nutshell

• Review your partner's profile, ask them questions if need be, and select a deck of oracle cards that feel right for him or her.

• Draw ONE oracle card, scan and print the image, and paste the image into a note card or on to a piece of stationery. Hand write the reading/meaning, including details of the card, and the deck it was drawn from.

• Mail the reading off to your partner! You have two weeks to sign up and two weeks to send after the sign-up date.

The Administrivia

• Ensure that you include your name, username, and the swap name.

• Send on time. Rate promptly upon receipt. Sending late without communication warrants a 3 rating and removal from the group. Not rating or having to be chased for a rating also warrants removal from the group. Communicate and rate.

• Rate according to the Swap-Bot Rating Criteria. Failure to rate your partner or to rate correctly will result in your removal from this group.

• If you are going to be late sending, make sure you let your partner and me know prior to the send-by date.

• Hearts are purely at the discretion of the rater.

• If you flake, you will be removed immediately from this group.

• If you are flaked on, let me know. I will angel this swap after you rate a 1.
