HPC: Emotions: LOVE and JOY

Hello everyone, This is a new swap based on Emotions. These will be hosted every month. The sign up cutoff will always be the end of the month and you will have until the end of the next month to send your card. On the 15th of every month, a new swap will originate. For this first month, you are to make cards for two different emotions (This way, at the end of the year, we will have a complete set of 12). You are to make two cards for Emotion 1 (they can be the same or different). You are to make two cards for Emotion 2 (they can be the same or different). You will then send one of each card to both swap partners. I would recommend everyone to make an additional two cards per Emotion (totally voluntary) to have on hand to angel people or to swap with those that join in the middle of the swap year.

The dimensions will stay the same (4" by 6") or (10cm by 16cm--roughly--for those of you in advanced societies). The orientation of the card will alternate every month.

So for February, here are the specifics: Sign up Deadline is January 31, 2009. Postcards must be sent out by February 28, 2009. The orientation is LANDSCAPE. The First Emotion this month is LOVE. The second Emotion this month is JOY. The rest is artist’s choice. Remember, two separate cards (one for Love and one for Joy) to each of your two partners.

P.S. Watch out for the March Emotion to be announced on February 15.

P.S.S. I don't want anyone stressing out by the themes. You have the widest lattitude to express the emotion. If your partner might not understand the representation of the theme explain it on the back of the card. I want everyone to have fun with this swap.
