This one’s for the newbies (or anyone who needs a little ratings boost). For this swap, you will send a postcard to three partners. The type of postcards you use doesn’t matter. They can be store bought, from Zazzle, a free postcard, or even handmade. If you’re running low on supplies, visit my Instagram to see examples of postcards you can make by up cycling cardboard packaging and used greeting cards: https://www.instagram.com/state of the funyun/ (There’s an underscore in each of the spaces in my username.) Be sure to include the name of the swap somewhere on the postcard. In your message to your partners, tell them about something fun, silly or downright wacky that you’ve been doing to pass the time these last several weeks or tell them a good riddle or joke. If you’re worried about getting to the post office, feel free to get a head start on creating yours (and add the addresses once partners are assigned). For those choosing to use handmade postcards, the USPS maximum size is 4” x 6” for a standard postcard with a postcard stamp. (Anything larger would require a first class stamp.) In case you’re wondering how to make your own postcard, I found this link helpful: https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.wikihow.com/Make-a-Postcard%3famp=1 All swappers must have a completed profile. I will be checking prior to assigning partners. |
