Matchbox Shrine: Special for Your Partner

A shrine can be dedicated to anything: a person, a place, a word/name, an idea, a theme, a color...

For this swap, you will create a tiny shrine by altering a small (32-count) matchbox, both inside and out, based on something you find in your partner's profile. The result will be something special just for that person. You'll have a full three weeks to make and send your shrine, so please read your partner's profile carefully, and put a little thought and effort into your shrine. Send something you think will put a smile on your partner's face.

Matchbox shrines can be made using just about any media: paper collage, painting, fabric, polymer clay...whatever works for you. Be creative and have fun! If you need inspiration, google "matchbox shrines" or "altered matchboxes" to see some beautiful work.

The nitty-gritty: To join this swap you must have a 4.7 or better rating and no no-sends within the past 3 months. We were all newbies once, so newbies are welcome with a filled-out profile, so long as you send me a message first so I know you're serious about sending out your swap. The point here is to make something special for someone else, so please don't sign up unless you want to make good on that.
