Wonderful washi #1

I’m sorry, this is my first swap. How do I know who my partners are & how do I get their shipping information? Thank you!

@Chechel2 - When partners are assigned there will be different links in the yellow square in the upper right corner. There you can see the partners you are assigned to and their address etc. hope this helps! :)

Ok....this might be a stupid question.....but....how the heck do I send these? I can only find washi in a roll and the back is sticky.......soooooo how can I send a sample without it getting all stuck to itself or the envelope? Waxed paper? Help a sister out.....

@cubsfanjennie - I plan to wrap the washi around a playing card so it is easy to unwrap. Does that help?

@Cubsfanjennie So, I'd been doing wax paper, right? AFTER getting my first washi playing card, I 110% suggest doing it that way.instead. A standard card wrapped both front and back facing upright is about four inches. They were on sale for fifty cents per pack at my Dollar Tree!

Why hasnt partners been assigned? The coordinator was online 2 days past deadline

@tammielynn1969 yeah I’m getting a bit worried too. I messaged the coordinator yesterday and have not gotten an answer. As you said, it’s only 2 days left until the Swap-deadline ://

@tammielynn1969 oh sorry I misunderstood. Yes I saw that too, the coordinator has been online after the signup deadline and have yet to assign partners :/

Also a bit worried, and I was super excited for this one, as it was the first swap I joined after a seven year hiatus. Paging @katiebree

I went ahead and messaged her; it said she was online on the 18th, which is two days after partners were supposed to be assigned. I hope this can get figured out and was simply an oversight!

I’m bummed and hopefully this will come around again. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Guys im so sorry! I thought I assigned them a couple days ago but my internet was being wierd and it didn't go through!

@Katiebree can you extend the swap deadline? It’s only one day and I don’t know if I’ll be able to send by then unfortunately :(

I’m going to have to do these when I get back from visiting family this weekend. I was going to try and pull a quickie and do them but I would rather take the time and put more effort in than last minute. Won’t be much longer and hoping my partners don’t mind!
