. . . . . . Felt cookies are adorable hanging from garlands over kitchen windows, adorning wrapped packages or dangling on Christmas trees. They're also quite easy to make, inexpensive to mail and fun to exchange. Let's bake a mini batch! PLEASE NOTE: I wanted to share the swap image with you because it's super cute, but the ornament in that picture is more involved than the one you are expected to make. I've included easier more user-friendly ideas at the end of the swap description. Using felt, embroidery floss and embellishments of your choice, make one Christmas cookie ornament for your partner. You may trace around your own cookie cutter to develop a pattern or use a published pattern you have at home or find online. You are not required to decorate both sides of your ornament. If the back is not decorated, it must be free of stitching (i.e. no random knots and stitches poking through from the decorated side). Please sew a loop into each ornament for hanging. Although your ornaments must be made with at least two layers of felt nicely stitched together along the edges, inside stuffing is optional. This swap is meant to be reasonably simple and low-stress, but please do your best work and send something you would be happy to receive. Need ideas?
